DIY horseshoe bean bags!

A year or so ago I was brainstorming gifts to make for my boyfriend’s extended family in Texas. We go visit them most Christmases, and I always get absurdly overly ambitious about gifts and then completely fail to finish them in time. These didn’t make it for Christmas, but I’ve now made a pattern so perhaps someone else can get their holiday gift done on time. 😀

These are bean bags shaped like horseshoes so even little kids can play…or older kids can play indoors! You can also make them as soft plushies rather than bean bags.

The pattern is available for sale in my brand new Etsy store! I’m currently working on ways to fund my time to do more craft & art projects, so I’ll be experimenting with some things in the near future. I’ll also have some cut & sew fabric for these (in super soft minky which is my favorite fabric for this project) available on Spoonflower soon.
